Debate Over Future of STVRs in Coachella Valley Cities
Cathedral City is not the only city dealing with STVR businesses in their residential neighborhoods. Palm Springs enacted legislation in 2018 to try to restore their residential neighborhoods. Other cities have also restricted these unsupervised mini-hotels. COVID is increasing the problems associated with STVRs as young people look for places to party.
