Cathedral City Residents
WHO WE ARE…
Cathedral City Residents was originally formed by a group of concerned full-time residents opposed to the mostly out-of-city investors who are trying to force short term vacation rentals (STVRs) into every residential neighborhood in the Coachella Valley. In March 2020, we helped to deliver a YES vote on Measure B, which supported the city’s new restrictions on STVR growth.
We continue to support the city’s work in enforcing ordinance 842, but our mission includes working to represent the concerns and needs of residents in all areas of city development and administration. (To learn more, explore the RESOURCES section of this site).
STVR Education and Information
We are planning to add resources to help residents impacted by bad behavior at STVRs. This will include help on how to report violations, and how to identify and report illegally operating STVRs.
City Development
We will be including information here on city developments that are of interest to residents. This is currently a work in progress.
