In what is becoming a familiar situation throughout the country, Rancho Mirage residents pressed to take back control of their neighborhoods from Short-Term Vacation Rental investors. After the city council voted to limit STVRs to specific areas of the city, the industry is fighting back with a lawsuit alleging various violations of laws and rights. Rancho Mirage Further Restricts STVRs

By a vote of 4-1, Rancho Mirage city council voted to further restrict STVRs in public neighborhoods. STVRs will only be allowed in communities with an HOA where their local rules allow them. The new ordinance goes into effect on January 1, 2021. More HERE
